MOLOFSKY (score – 29): This entire series is the perfect antidote to most jewelry TV ads—rather than the usual tour around the cases and product shots, it defers to common customer complaints and gives the viewer a solution to his or her problems.
WEINHEIM (score – 32): This campaign has great branding in the background at the back of the ‘ring box’ and is a nifty reveal in each case: people sitting in a giant Lee Michaels ‘ring box.’ It’s a good visual for the line “Every box has a story.” KENSINGER (score – 43): Lee Michaels is the clear winner – executing their ad campaign with high production values that are well written, acted, catchy music and photographed. I liked the smart dialogue playing off and poking fun at the “Venus and mars” conflict of human nature. DERICCO (score – 22): A single character and a very clean set keep us focused on the message which is very clear and something everyone can relate to at one time or another. |
